Role Overview
The Sourcing Experienced Professional – Commodity Management will support procurement strategy for assigned commodities, and execute order placement and agreements with suppliers to meet business KPIs. The position is based in Talamona (SO) and requires frequent travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long‑term commodity strategies to deliver best procurement performance.
- Integrate commodity strategies into product leadership, sales, engineering, and manufacturing objectives.
- Lead supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management for new product development, working with engineering, sales, and product leadership.
- Act as a point of reference for product leadership, sales, and engineering on the product strategy of the assigned commodity.
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations to achieve supply‑chain goals for single purchase orders and strategic partnerships.
- Negotiate and issue purchase orders to suppliers to achieve the lowest possible cost while balancing quality and schedule requirements.




- Design procurement initiatives for cost‑out programs, cycle reduction, and cash‑flow improvement (e.g., rebates, payment terms).
- Leverage S&OP; data to match and optimize supplier capacity with business goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics with procurement or commodity management experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, operations, or supply chain (preferred).
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to resolve problems and identify solutions.
- Positive attitude, ability to embrace change and view challenges as opportunities.
- Available to reside in Talamona (SO) or travel to Talamona at least once per month.
