Technical Project Engineer – Industrial Water Treatment
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are seeking a technically strong and field‑oriented engineer to coordinate complex industrial water treatment projects from concept to commissioning. The position is home‑based in North Italy with regular travel across the territory.
Support the Engineering team at early stages: clarify scope, identify technical risks, and define optimal solutions.
Conduct or supervise on‑site surveys, basic design, and system conception, ensuring a balance between CAPEX and OPEX.
define project schedules, execution timelines, and staffing needs.
Prepare technical specifications and procedures for project execution in collaboration with Engineering; support Procurement in supplier selection and PO issuance.
Monitor work in progress, review project specifications, and coordinate with internal and external engineering/service teams.
Lead installation, start‑up, commissioning activities, and final performance sign‑off.




Provide technical assistance for existing OEM contracts, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and coordination of resources.
Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring alignment with Solenis core values and project standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within Operation & Maintenance contracts and strengthen the solutions provider strategy.
Degree in Technical Engineering with proven experience in water process selection, design, and implementation of industrial water treatment systems (including F&B; applications) and chemical injection packages.
~1–2 years of electrical and automation systems experience preferred.
~ Alternatively, mechanical engineers with 2–4 years of water treatment experience considered.
