Digital Content Creator
Location: Secret Milano / Secret Roma team.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, original video and other social media content about life, culture, events, trends, and things to do in Milan and Rome for Secret Media Network's digital platforms.
- Cover events, attractions, openings, and breaking local stories across Italy.
- Lead the creation of social‑first video content from ideation to publication, including planning, filming, editing, and optimizing videos for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Monitor content performance and use insights to refine creative strategies and improve results.
- Appear on camera as a presenter when required, conducting interviews and creating audience‑focused storytelling content.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and audience behaviours to continuously optimize content performance.
- Collaborate closely with editorial, social media, and commercial teams to develop content that drives engagement and audience growth.

Qualifications




- Native‑level proficiency in written and spoken Italian and fluent English.
- Proven experience producing professional‑quality scripted and unscripted videos, supported by a showreel and portfolio of previous work.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Film, Design, Communication, or a related field.
- Confidence in writing video script copy.
- Strong social media content creation skills across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Passion for Milan and Rome city life and the topics covered.
- Excellent understanding of digital media trends and shareable content.
- Proactive, can‑do attitude and ability to see tasks through to completion.
- Comfortable appearing on camera.

Preferred Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop, and Media Encoder. After Effects experience a plus.
- Comfortable creating video and still imagery using digital cameras such as Sony Alpha series, GoPro, iPhone, etc.
- Basic experience in motion graphics
