Overview
Within Operations, in the Investment and Engineering Group, the Process and Machinery Engineering Manager has responsibility to analyze and validate the project proposals received from affiliates/plants at international level. He/she will actively drive project execution, ensuring effective management of both technical and organizational aspects; lead and facilitate technical discussions with suppliers and affiliates, fostering alignment and collaboration; liaise with internal customers (affiliates), understanding their needs; communicate and coordinate with local teams, plant managers and other involved functions; assist local teams in the management and resolution of issues by providing guidance and transferring knowledge from other plants; identify best practices to be adopted at group level by extended benchmarking on specific and critical processes/methods.
Responsibilities

- Lead and facilitate technical discussions with suppliers and affiliates to ensure alignment and collaboration.

- Assist local teams in managing and resolving issues by providing guidance and transferring knowledge from other plants.
- Identify best practices to be adopted at group level through benchmarking on specific and critical processes/methods.
- Define main technical characteristics of equipment necessary to implement investments supporting Prysmian strategy.
- Define timing and budget of projects to be evaluated/approved.
- Coordinate all steps from project definition to commissioning and start-up of equipment.
- Support all affiliates in solving process and machinery issues.
