ph3Overview /h3pThe Sr. Specialist, GI Global Medical Affairs plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the global medical strategy for the Gastrointestinal portfolio. /ppThis position integrates brand‑driving medical strategy, claims and evidence development, and scientific communication excellence to strengthen differentiation, accelerate global alignment, and support the successful lifecycle of key GI products. /ppThe role requires strong scientific acumen, the ability to translate science into strategy and claims, and cross‑functional influence across RD, Marketing, Regulatory, Market Access, and local Medical teams. /ph3Responsibilities /h3h3Global Medical Strategy Evidence Generation (Primary responsibility) /h3ulliLead the bmedical strategy /b for the GI portfolio, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, lifecycle plans, and market needs. /liliIdentify bevidence gaps and claim opportunities /b and translate them into globally aligned evidence-generation plans (clinical, RWE, mechanistic, meta-analyses, publications). /liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with global GI bKOLs /b, academic partners, and scientific societies to capture insights, validate strategic claims, and shape the pipeline. /liliPartner with Clinical RWE teams to ensure all studies are designed to support future claims and global positioning. /liliProvide scientific leadership for new bclaims submissions /b, dossiers, substantiation packages, and competitive positioning. /li /ulh3Medical-Brand Integration Global Claims Leadership /h3ulliDrive scientific differentiation of the GI portfolio through brobust, compliant, and relevant claims /b. /liliPartner closely with Brand/Marketing, Legal, and Regulatory to define the bglobal claims strategy /b, including hierarchy, substantiation levels, and competitive benchmark.
/liliEnsure integration of scientific insights into bbrand narratives /b, go‑to‑market strategies, launch plans, and global messaging frameworks. /li /ulh3Scientific Communication Publication Excellence /h3ulliLead the development of key bscientific communication assets /b: /liliEnsure the consistency, accuracy, and compliance of all HCP-facing content across markets. /liliManage the publication strategy (abstracts, posters, manuscripts) and ensure timely dissemination through appropriate scientific channels. /liliSupport internal medical education and cross‑functional training on GI science, evidence, and claims. /li /ulh3Cross-Functional Partnership Global Alignment /h3ulliAct as the global reference point for GI scientific matters, supporting affiliates with training, claims interpretation, and evidence communication. /liliProvide medical input to innovation projects, new formulations, line extensions, and competitive assessments. /liliEnsure alignment between RD, Medical, and Brand teams to maintain bone global scientific voice /b. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliScientific Background /liliAdvanced degree required (M.D., PharmD, or PhD preferred; MSc considered with strong experience). /liliStrong knowledge of Gastroenterology, probiotics, microbiome, gut physiology, or adjacent therapeutic areas. /lili4+ years in Medical Affairs (global or regional) with experience in: Evidence generation (clinical, RWE, publications),Claims development and substantial Scientific communication HCP content /liliDigestive Health experience in Consumer Healthcare is strongly preferred. /liliAbility to synthesize complex science into clear, brand-relevant narratives. /liliStrong communication and storytelling skills for scientific audiences. /liliStrategic mindset with hands-on execution. /liliAbility to influence without authority and operate in cross-cultural, global environments. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
