**Key Responsibilities**:
This position reports to the Research and Development Manager and to the Laboratory Manager. Part of the tasks will be: - To carry out and handle assigned analytical laboratory activities at the highest technical level
- To carry out assigned R&D; projects, achieving the targets according to the defined schedules and objectives
- Support the international teams with sales and/or service promotion.
- To publish high quality papers and attend conferences to promote new technologies and services.
- To identify possible new research targets and to contribute to project definition, in particular for new initiatives
- To contribute to the definition and development of new services
- Committed to the Company’s safety and quality programs. **Requirements**: - 3 + years experience in R&D; environment (PhD and/or research contracts within university or research institutes will be considered equivalent)
- Master's Degree in Chemistry or equivalent (PhD will be considered a plus)




- Preferrable experience in analysis of complex samples using techniques such as GC and GC-MS
- Ability to effectively prepare technical reports and/or research papers
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, to customers and colleagues both in English and in Italian.
- Problem-solving and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Team working, as well as capability to operate in autonomy
- International business travelling
- Certified skills in project management will be considered a plus
- Knowledge of French, Spanish or Portuguese will be considered a plus Ability to commute/relocate: - Milano, Lombardia: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Master's (required) **Experience**: - R&D; environment: 3 years (required) **Language**: - English (required)
