We are driven by the following values**: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability.** Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. **Position**:
We are looking for **PGI, ACS, IKL Planning and Coordination Manager.
The identified resource will be responsible for: - Project manage, prioritise and coordinate cross-functional activities for PGI,
IKL and ACS functional areas.
- Ensure correct implementation of the Transition Planning Concept.
- Establish and coordinate Transition working groups.
- Organise educational activities, in collaboration with IKL and as part of working groups.
- Plan and coordinate IPC Venue Readiness inspections.
- Develop the internal Paralympic awareness building plan and coordinate its implementation. **Requirements**: - Essential_
- Previous experience in project management of major events, preferably in the sport sector.
- Knowledge of Para sport and related event operations and accessibility requirements.
- Knowledge of and network in the Paralympic Movement at national and international level.
- Excellent verbal and written command of English.
- Desirable_
- Knowledge and experience in areas related to Games operations and services.
- Experience in major events organising committees, international sport federations, IOC/IPC or other international sports organizations or National Paralympic Committees.
- High level of organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills along with a strong work ethic.
