**Avincis** is a global leader in the emergency aviation industry and it provides services in the field of HEMS, Firefighting, off-shore and MRO. For the Firefighting area, Avincis manages the Italian Canadair fleet composed of 18 planes, owned by the Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco, and it counts on 3 operative bases. The Rotary Wing division instead has a fleet of more than 40 helicopters and 36 operative bases, mainly operating in Italian regions but also covering international operations. For our office in **Colico (LC)**, we are looking for a **RW Supply Chain Manager - Italy.** The role reports to the Chief Operations Officer for Rotary Wing (RW) Italy, and it **leads the RW Supply Chain team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery of all RW supply chain operations**. This includes Supplier on time delivery, the cost and performance of operations to budget and program execution to meet internal customer commitments. RW Supply Chain operations include Planning & Performance, Purchasing, external Supplier relationships, internal Customer Support and Warehouse Operations to assure supply of material, both for aeronautical product and general procurement, to meet the needs of the RW business. **Responsibilities and Activities**: - Work closely with the CAMO and Pt145 Managers to **ensure all RW logistic needs are managed effectively** with efficient service delivery.
- **Develop and implement a clear set of performance metrics** and service level agreements between Supply Chain,



the Suppliers and Production to drive a strong performance and delivery culture to support the operation.
- Lead the planning, performance, purchasing, procurement, warehousing and distribution functions within RW ensuring efficient management of supplies and their cost.
- **Drive supply chain strategies to improve supply chain agility** including significant lead time reduction, cost savings, and improvements in supplier delivery performance.
- **Define and optimize logistics operations** with a view to improving the management of material according to business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and drive trusted relationships with the RW senior leadership team, functional managers, internal customers, external suppliers and the regulatory Authorities. As the aviation sector is highly regulated, safety and compliance are of the highest priority. - Experience in communicating and collaborating across different functions and levels as well as driving supply chain management processes and improvements.
- In depth understanding and experience with Supply Chain purchasing, policies, process, tools, regulations and protocols.
- Problem solving and creative thinking.
- Ability to navigate through complexity.
- Deep understanding of performance metrics, data management and overall business analytics.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office suite, procurement and ERP systems/tools.
- **Fluency in Italian and English (C1)** **Qualifications and Experience**
- Essential Requirements_
- Bachelor’s Degree with **at least 10 years of experience in global Supply Chain operations**.
- **At least 2 years of experience leading a team** of Supply Chain professionals.
- Proven organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of supply chain best practices, purchasing, lean six sigma, and project management.
- Experience in driving to resolution complex supplier issues in collaboration with suppliers, engineering and quality.
- Preferred requirements:_
- 5 years’ experience in an aviation related supply chain environment.
