We are looking for a Senior Retail Advisor on behalf of our partner company!

Our partner is a well-established retail company with a strong presence in both domestic and international markets. As part of its ongoing retail transformation journey, the company is looking for an experienced Senior Retail Advisor who will provide strategic guidance to the executive leadership and Board, support key business decisions, and contribute to the company's long-term retail excellence agenda.

This is a flexible consultancy-based advisory role, designed for a senior retail executive with extensive leadership experience. Rather than being involved in day-to-day operations, the advisor will offer an independent perspective, evaluate business performance, share global best practices, and support the leadership team through periodic strategic advisory sessions.

General Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage,
- Minimum of 15 years of senior leadership experience in retail operations, retail management, retail transformation, or retail consulting,
- Proven experience leading or advising multi-store and/or international retail organizations,
- Strong understanding of retail strategy, commercial performance, customer experience, merchandising, omnichannel retail, and operational excellence,
- Demonstrated experience in retail transformation, business growth, and organizational development initiatives,
- Experience working directly with executive leadership teams and/or Boards of Directors,
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret commercial and operational data to support strategic decision-making,
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills,




- Ability to influence executive-level decisions through objective, data-driven recommendations,
- Strong knowledge of international retail trends and industry best practices,
- Fluent in English; Turkish is considered an advantage.

- Advise the executive leadership and Board on retail strategy, commercial performance, and operational excellence,
- Review business performance, retail KPIs, and strategic initiatives, providing independent recommendations to support sustainable growth,
- Evaluate existing retail operating models and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, profitability, and organizational effectiveness,
- Share international best practices and market insights to support the company's retail transformation journey,
- Provide an external perspective by challenging existing assumptions and contributing to strategic decision-making,
- Support leadership in defining long-term retail transformation priorities, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps,
- Participate in periodic executive meetings, strategic workshops, and Board discussions as required,
- Prepare executive-level assessments, reports, and presentations with actionable strategic recommendations,
- Advise on topics including store productivity, commercial excellence, customer experience, omnichannel development, retail innovation, and organizational capabilities,
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor, helping leadership evaluate opportunities, manage risks, and make informed business decisions.

Engagement Model This is a flexible, consultancy-based advisory engagement rather than a full-time operational role. The advisor is expected to support the executive leadership through periodic strategic meetings and reviews, providing independent expertise and guidance as needed throughout the engagement.
