Key Responsibilities: - Support the development and review of instrumentation deliverables for Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) projects during the APS and FEED phases.
- Assist in the evaluation of contractor documentation, including instrument datasheets, I/O lists, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, and specifications.
- Contribute to the definition and verification of control system interfaces, instrument selection, and process measurement strategies.
- Work closely with the process, control, and safety teams to ensure alignment of instrumentation with overall project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards (e.g., IEC, ISA) and licensor requirements,



particularly for modifications to existing units or integration of proprietary systems.
- Participate in reviews such as HAZOP, SIL assessments, and vendor document evaluations under supervision of senior staff.
- Provide technical input during instrumentation procurement and support vendor follow-up when required. **Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in **Instrumentation Engineering**, **Electronics**, or a related field from a recognized university.
- ** Minimum of 5 years** of experience in instrumentation engineering roles within the **oil & gas** or **petrochemical industry**.
- Familiarity with instrumentation for process control and safety systems, particularly in FEED or early design phases.
- Basic knowledge of major control platforms and field instrumentation technologies.
- Understanding of engineering standards such as **ISA**, **IEC**, **API**, and related practices.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with a willingness to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
- ** Fluency in English is mandatory**; knowledge of Italian or French is a plus. **Additional Information**
