To support our Company’s growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic **Export Control Specialist** who will be part of our **Contracts Department**and report to our**Export Control Officer in ensuring compliance with all applicable international trade regulations and export control laws. You will work in a dynamic and cross-functional environment supporting national and international projects in a strategic domain. If you are able to think and act in a cooperative way, establish a successful collaboration with others, put the customer at the heart of your thoughts and actions, always strive to provide a service of excellence, aspire to outstanding results, and use your resources sustainably, you are best equipped for us. **DUTIES** As an **Export Control Specialist**, you will be responsible for managing export licensing, classification, and documentation processes. The activities will include (but are not limited to): - Ensure compliance with national and international export control laws and regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR, EU Dual-Use Regulations);
- Classify products, technologies, and software under appropriate export control classifications (ECCNs, HS codes, etc.);
- Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues related to delays or customs clearance;
- Maintain internal policies and procedures related to export compliance and ensure company-wide adherence;
- Stay abreast of changes in export control regulations and trade sanctions imposed by relevant authorities (e.g. EU, UK, US);
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks;
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Quality, Finance, Logistics and Procurement and other relevant departments on issues related to export control, trade sanctions and compliance;
- Provide training and guidance to staff on export control requirements and best practices;
- Monitor changes in export control laws and assess their impact on company operations. **GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Trade, Law or Economic field.
- At least 2 years**of experience in export compliance, trade compliance, or a similar role, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.) and export compliance software/tools. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. and/or EU export control regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR, EU Dual-Use Regulation);
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping practices;
- International, cross-jurisdictional experience and exposure;
- Highly developed critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent judgement and decision-making capabilities;
- Ability to work in international and multicultural contexts, as well as in multidisciplinary teams;
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and stakeholder needs;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, working under tight deadlines. **ADDITIONAL ASSETS**
- Previous experience in the aerospace or defense industry will be considered a plus;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills;
