Salary: €6,500 to €7,500 net per month (depending on experience) + Excellent Benefits + Career Progression

The Role You'll support the commissioning and handover of complex mechanical building services systems, ensuring they are installed, tested and fully operational before client handover.

Working alongside experienced commissioning managers, package engineers, design teams and clients, you'll be involved throughout the commissioning lifecycle, from pre-commissioning planning through to integrated systems testing and final project completion.





Your responsibilities will include

- Reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submittals
- Supporting the development and execution of commissioning plans
- Assisting with commissioning methodologies, sequencing and system boundaries
- Coordinating commissioning activities with project teams, subcontractors and equipment vendors
- Preparing commissioning documentation, checklists and test procedures
- Witnessing functional testing and integrated systems testing
- Supporting mechanical walkdowns, inspections and tag walks
- Managing commissioning trackers, progress reports and snagging activities
- Supporting system close-out and client handover
- Assisting with O&M; manuals and client training documentation
- Attending commissioning meetings and providing technical support throughout project delivery
- Ensuring all commissioning activities are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications

About You You'll be an organised and technically capable Mechanical Commissioning Engineer who enjoys working on complex engineering projects and takes pride in delivering quality solutions in demanding environments.

Essential Experience

- Degree or recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering,



Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
- Previous experience in mechanical commissioning
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems
- Experience commissioning chilled water, heating, ventilation and pressurisation systems
- Understanding of commissioning procedures, testing methodologies and system interfaces
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Fluent English

Desirable
- Previous experience delivering hyperscale or mission critical data centre projects
- Experience within pharmaceutical, industrial or large commercial construction projects
- Knowledge of integrated systems testing and commissioning software
- Previous client-facing experience
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Italian language skills (beneficial but not essential)
