**ITALY - PAYROLL IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER (ZUCCHETTI EXPERT)** Olympus Talent is supporting a global payroll transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Manager with deep expertise in Italian payroll and the Zucchetti payroll platform. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end payroll implementations, managing payroll migrations, configuring payroll processes, executing testing cycles, and guiding clients through successful payroll go-live activities. This role requires a payroll implementation specialist who understands both the technical and operational aspects of Italian payroll and can confidently manage multiple stakeholder groups throughout the implementation lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end payroll implementation and migration projects
- Organise and facilitate project kick-off meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
- Create and manage implementation project plans, timelines, risks, actions and dependencies
- Gather payroll requirements and define country-specific payroll processes
- Configure payroll workflows and system requirements
- Manage payroll data migration activities from legacy systems
- Execute payroll parallel runs and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Validate payroll outputs and reconcile payroll results
- Support month one and month two live payroll processing
- Manage payroll project documentation and process maps
- Act as the primary point of contact for all payroll implementation activities
- Ensure compliance with Italian payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Support client sign-off and transition into payroll operations **Requirements**: - 5+ years payroll implementation experience




- Extensive Italian payroll operations experience
- Advanced Zucchetti payroll expertise
- Experience delivering payroll migrations and payroll transformation projects
- Strong understanding of Italian payroll legislation and compliance
- Experience with payroll testing, parallel payrolls and go-live activities
- Proven client-facing project management experience
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Fluent Italian and English
- Resident in Italy Preferred
- Experience implementing payroll for multinational organisations
- PMP, Prince2 or equivalent project management certification
- Experience working within global payroll environments
- Experience working with global payroll providers, EOR providers or payroll technology organisations
