For our own projects, we are looking for: Electrical & Instrument Supervisor

MISSION

The successful candidate will oversee electrical and instrumentation construction activities on an industrial plant project, ensuring all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. The role involves supervising subcontractors, coordinating with site teams, and supporting construction completion activities.

Type of project: Industrial Plant Construction

Contract duration: Initial 3 months, with the possibility of extension

Working schedule: 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday

Duties and responsibilities

- Supervise electrical and instrumentation construction activities on site.
- Ensure all works comply with HSE policies, permit-to-work procedures, and project requirements.
- Verify the availability of materials required for planned construction activities and report shortages or delays.
- Coordinate with the Field Material Controller during material receipt, inspection, and storage.
- Ensure electrical and instrumentation materials are handled, stored, and protected according to vendor and project specifications.
- Review and approve subcontractor material requests, ensuring correct quantities and specifications.
- Inspect completed installations and verify readiness for commissioning through insulation testing, calibration, and functional checks.




- Supervise electrical motor run-in activities and verify equipment performance.
- Witness and record calibration activities for relief and safety valves.
- Coordinate inspections and completed work handovers with the Construction Manager and discipline specialists.
- Liaise closely with construction management and other disciplines to ensure smooth execution of interface activities.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, quality of work, and adherence to project schedules.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Instrument Supervisor, E&I; Supervisor, or in a similar site supervision role.
- Previous experience on industrial plant construction projects within the oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or process industries.
- Good understanding of electrical and instrumentation installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning preparation activities.
- Experience supervising subcontractors and coordinating field construction activities.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, technical specifications, and vendor documentation.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and permit-to-work systems.
- Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
