HSE Specialist - Construction | Solar, BESS, Wind
Location: Milan, Italy (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to around €60,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Piper Maddox are supporting one of our key IPP clients in Europe with a HSE Specialist focusing on the delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects across Italy.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high HSE standards throughout construction and commissioning, working closely with contractors, site teams and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Italian HSE legislation and company standards.
Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and contractor evaluations.
Review RAMS, safety plans and HSE documentation.
Manage non-conformities and support incident/near-miss investigations.
Monitor HSE KPIs and drive continuous improvement.




Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.

Requirements
5+ years’ HSE experience in construction, ideally Solar, BESS or Wind.
Strong knowledge of D.Lgs. 81/2008 and D.Lgs. 152/2006 .
Experience with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 .
Strong contractor management and site-based HSE experience.
ASPP/RSPP or CSP/CSE qualifications desirable.
Fluent Italian and good English.
Relevant HSE, engineering or technical qualification.
