General Job Description

The Plumbing Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all warehouse operations, with a strong focus on plumbing materials. This role ensures timely receiving and processing of incoming materials, accurate order fulfillment, efficient packing and shipping, and maintaining a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Strategic Oversight
Manage warehouse operations in alignment with company policies and long-term vision.
Design and optimize warehouse layout to maximize space efficiency and workflow.
Implement, monitor, and enforce effective operational policies and procedures.
Operations Management
Supervise receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance processes.
Ensure compliance with all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation.
Oversee inventory control, maintain accurate records, and reconcile stock with warehouse management systems.
Conduct regular inventory audits and recommend restocking strategies for plumbing materials.
Health, Safety, and Compliance
Maintain high standards of safety,



cleanliness, and security in the warehouse.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Team Leadership
Manage, train, and supervise warehouse associates, ensuring adherence to safety practices.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Oversee safe operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and material handling tools.
Cross-Departmental Coordination
Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and logistics departments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members to maintain high service quality.
