In Italy it is known as Fondazione IES Abroad Italy and has centers in Rome, Siena and Milan. The IES Abroad Milano Student Affair Assistant job is a full-time position whose primary duties include:
Student Care: - Collect and review medical forms prior to students’ arrival.
- Schedule and coordinate all pre-departure Medical Calls.
- Assist sick students and refer them to the appropriate doctor, monitor and follow-up on students’ recovery.
- Assist in Safety Drills.
- Maintain comprehensive, accessible, and confidential student records related to student affairs.
- Monitor students’ welfare, advise and council students in need.
- Serve as conflict mediator in case of controversial issues among students. Students Health: - Coordinate Medical services to students.
- Follow-up on student with Special Needs throughout the term.




- Oversee Learning Disabilities in cooperation with Academics.
- Support students with mental health problems and refer them to the appropriate professional counselor, follow-up on student progress.
- Help students file CISI claim forms.
- Promptly inform the SA Manager, Center Director and the Chicago Office of all student behaviors that require special attention.
- Be familiar with and adhere to IES Student Affairs Protocols.
- Participate in Student Affairs monthly Webinar with IES Abroad Chicago Staff Disciplinary procedures: - Work with the Student Affairs Manager and the Center Director in scheduling administrative hearings resulting from student behavioral issues.
- Prepare charge letters and sanction letters. Contratto di lavoro: Tempo completo, Tempo determinato
