- Be responsible for the conception, design, implementation, and interpretation of scientific research experiments in the area of molecular biology in support of vaccine development.
- Participate in scientific collaborations and reporting of data in technical reports and scientific journals
- Maintain required documentation for processes and equipment
- Contribute to implementation of project specific research and publication plan
- Take appropriate actions to resolve issues in area of responsibility affecting research strategy and progress
- Participate in writing internal/external reports and scientific documents in support of internal projects **_ Why you?_** **Basic Qualifications & Skills**:
**We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals**: - PhD in Molecular Biology / Microbiology / Biochemistry
- ** Previous research experience in basic cell biology, biochemistry,
and molecular biology methods for**mRNA-based vaccines against infectious pathogens, including protein and nucleic acid characterization tools/techniques**
- Good level of spoken, conversational and written English
- Clear and effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse scientific disciplines
- Growing ability to present scientific data and represent team at technical project team level **Preferred Qualifications & Skills**:
**Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply**: - Hands-on biomedical research experience in the field of virology and knowledge of structural biology
- Experience in nanoparticle characterization techniques (DLS, zeta potential, chromatography) and knowledge of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in the field of mRNA vaccines
- A track record of scientific publications and/or patents is highly desirable
- Innovative thinking is a plus, be able to identify link between different components of a problem or situation related to own work
- Ability to communicate issues proactively and effectively negotiate potential solutions
