**Posted Date**: Apr 23 2025 Within GVGH the Laboratory Operations specialist will support transversal operational activities for GVGH laboratories and related documents in collaboration with GSK functions and GVGH Functions. **Key Responsibilities**: - Support CAPEX, SMR, OPEX & Project investment Proposal (PIP)
- Purchasing and Commissioning of Lab equipment and Pipettes
- Support and coordinate execution of Lab revamping/readiness, new lab Installations
- Planning and supervision of Lab Equipment installation, Operational Qualification, Performance Qualification, Validation according to SOE principles and EHS requirements
- Management of Equipment and Pipettes Inventory, planning and supervision of equipment life cycle (maintenance, calibrations, moving, decommissioning); support compliance with Legal requirements (PED) and Engineering Standard (ES)
- In line with EHS and SOE requirement, support external contractors for Lab equipment and Pipettes management
- Coordinate cross-laboratory initiatives
- Management of external provider and permit to work
- Safety supervisor based on Italian legislation requirement (D.lgs 81/2008) to guarantee safety oversight on Equipment management, contractor activities and safe system of work **Basic Qualifications & Skills**: - MS Scientific degree from an accredited university
- Previous experience in scientific and/or business environment
- At least cumulative 3-4 years of work experience in a laboratory and/or business environment
- Good knowledge of both Italian and English languages
- Understanding of Laboratory Operations **Preferred Qualifications & Skills**: - Good communication skills, team spirit
