Join us in this exciting role and lead our workshop team to new heights of success and innovation! **Your role and responsibilities** **As the Workshop Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of our operations. Your responsibilities will include**: - Take ownership of the workshop's profit and loss, ensuring financial health and sustainability.
- Plan, lead, organize, and supervise activities to meet QEHS requirements and obligations, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
- Develop and support a competence development plan for the team,



aligning with market needs and technological advancements.
- Drive business growth by increasing customer contacts and generating leads from non-buying customers.
- Facilitate the study and deployment of a Continuous Improvement approach, streamlining workshop execution and workflows.
- Support the development of the workshop layout and optimize ways of working to boost efficiency.
- Enhance the workshop's service offerings to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Build visibility of demand and effectively manage capacity to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage communication across multiple stakeholders and senior leaders, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
- Own and drive the customer experience, measuring success and implementing improvements.
- Hire and develop team members, implementing robust growth and development plans to ensure employee satisfaction.
- Deploy target setting and execution plans to achieve organizational goals.
- Ensure development support to and from other workshops in the region, strengthening synergy with Parts and Field Service Organization and other relevant Wärtsilä entities. **The following will enable you to shine in this role**: - Completed technical vocational education or equivalent experience in marine equipment and machinery, supported by an entrepreneurial attitude.

- Understanding of workshop operations and processes, with a focus on managing risks and continuous improvement.
- Good knowledge and experience with IT tools and systems, with a forward-looking approach to digitalization.
