RD&T; Battery Application Labs - Lab Technician** ** MISSION** Contribute to the development and characterization of advanced polymer materials for next-generation batteries, supporting scientists in the design and testing of in-cell components such as electrode binders. Your laboratory work will directly enable innovation in new battery materials. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan and carry out lab tests upon Scientist requests with a good level of autonomy. This may involve:
Formulation and dispersion of slurries and preparation of electrodes
Characterization of the samples, including physical, mechanical and electrical testing-
- Contribute to Lab test development in collaboration with the scientists of the group




- Write Operating Instructions for laboratory activities according to best practices and safety requirements
- Collaborate with the R&D; Managers and Scientists to define internal Lab Procedures
- Collaborate with the team to assure high quality, housekeeping and safety standards
- Simple data elaboration and critical analysis of results to support the definition of next steps for experimental activities during the discussion with the reference scientist
- Clear and organized communication and reporting of activities to the reference scientist and to the project team QUALIFICATIONS**
- High School Diploma in Technical/Scientific Field of relevance to Solvay Materials and the Battery Application Labs
- Experience in R&D; or Technology preferred.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of the basic Microsoft Office suite
- Good written and oral communication within and outside the team
- Intermediate knowledge of english is a plus (B1 level)
