Needs to conduct analysis of survival data by Cox regression and Kaplan-Meier curves and meta-analyses of case/control studies and is able to use statistical tools and programming languages such as STATA or R.
- Will perform annotation, prioritization and clinical interpretation (classification) of pathogenicity of genetic variants detected by WES/WGS.
- Has to be familiar with online databases such as UCSC Genome Browser, ClinVar, ClinGen, VarSome, BRCA Exchange, and gnomAD.
- Has a good knowledge of the English language, is reliable, with strong commitment to research and has excellent communication skills and strong attitude toward team work. The IEO operates as a Comprehensive Cancer Center, linking fundamental and applied research to clinical activities, patient care and clinical trials.
