Description

If you are passionate about Operations and Project Management and you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you as Inspection & Testing Engineer in Lugagnano Val d’Arda (PC). In this role, you will lead inspection and testing activities within a manufacturing environment, helping ensure products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and quality expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and third-party representatives to support safe, efficient, and on-time project execution while contributing to Emerson’s commitment to innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

- Lead and coordinate inspection and testing activities to support production and business objectives.

- Ensure valve testing is completed in accordance with applicable international standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee cryogenic testing activities, including test setup, safety compliance, temperature stabilization, and leak detection processes.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, third-party inspectors, and regulatory representatives during testing and inspection activities.

- Coordinate inspection schedules, witness testing activities, and required documentation to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience.

- Prepare and maintain accurate test reports, inspection records, calibration documentation, non-conformance reports, and related quality records.

- Support compliance with customer requirements, international standards, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) requirements, and project specifications.

- Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality practices while contributing to a positive safety culture.





- Support and develop technicians and engineers to build technical capability and encourage continuous learning.

- Partner with manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, project management, and shipping teams to improve collaboration and operational effectiveness.

- Support customer visits, factory inspections, meetings, and shipment planning activities to help ensure on-time project delivery.

For This Role, You Will Need:

- Degree or equivalent education and experience in Engineering or a related technical field.

- Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, quality, project management.

- Ability to interpret technical requirements, specifications, standards, and engineering documentation.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

- Professional working proficiency in English and Italian.

- Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, customer focus, integrity, innovation, and teamwork.





- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

- Experience with valve inspection, testing, quality assurance, or industrial manufacturing processes.

- Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, EN, ISO, PED, or similar regulatory and technical requirements.

- Experience coordinating customer inspections, witness testing, or project-related activities.

- Knowledge of additional languages

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is 28000 & 40000 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. The role is suitable for candidates with early career experience as well as professionals looking to further develop their skill in project quality. This role is covered by the Industria Metalmeccanica Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which defines the applicable compensation structure and progression (CCNL Metalmeccanici — Assolombarda).
