WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a person with early experience (Analyst) or extensive experience (Advisor) in the business/consultancy world, with a specific focus on EU projects, Open Innovation, and Science & Technology (deeptech). This person shall have the ability to collect, structure and analyse in a critical manner a diverse range of information (structured, semi-structured) such as scientific literature,



patents and projects. This person shall be able to identify pattern, convergences, divergences, and unique features of a given concept, situation, solution. Importantly, this person shall be able to present results in a clear way, as well as express assessments and develops views in a structured and logical way, while keeping up with tight deadlines and evolving needs, as situations may demand while assisting clients in high-tech markets, typically within the (white) biotech, foodtech and/or cleantech domains.

The collaboration format will a client-supplier relation with the Analyst / Advisor working as self-employed person (either currently working are such or able to become one) interested in supporting Magfi in the implementation of current B2B commercial projects and/or B2G (EU-funded) innovation projects.

The person would mainly:

- Support the Magfi teams with market analysis, industrial insights within relevant foodtech, biotech, cleantech or other related fields, collecting, collating, analysing and presenting insights derived from:

--- scientific literature analysis;

--- patent databases analysis;

--- funded project databases analysis;

--- website and online news studies,



as well as any other industrial intelligence tools and approaches relevant to achieve the said objectives;

--- Direct contact with industrial and other market players;

- Support with information-collecting and with the elaborations required to write and submit EU funded projects (mainly within the Horizon Europe, LIFE, Innovation Fund, and other programmes), including building process models and schemes as needed;

- Support, if required, with the implementation of the BioInvestEurope initiative (

- Perform business travels to visit clients venues and/or sector events and/or consortium meetings on either long or short notice as needed.

RELEVANT PROFILE:

- Bachelor/Master’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). A preference is typically given to Natural Sciences (including biology, chemistry, environment) and Engineering (including: chemical, process, environmental)

- Good organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, strong proactivity;

- Willingness to work remotely, ability to take commitment and deliver on them in time and at quality.
