Two years of experience as a Correctional Officer II with the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry.

A letter of recommendation from the unit Deputy Warden is required by the close of the announcement. Any candidate who does not provide an approved, signed letter of recommendation will not proceed in the testing process (form located on the CPR intranet).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION – Must receive a rating of meets expectations or better.

SUSPENSION – ineligible to apply for a promotional opportunity during the one year period from the date the incident that caused the suspension occurred or the incident was reported by the employee, whichever occurred last.

VOLUNTARY DEMOTIONS – Employees accepting a voluntary demotion shall be required to remain in the classification/position requested for a period of at least two years before being considered for appointment to any
