Overall Objectives of job
We are looking for experienced Camunda BPM Engineers who can design and implement BPMN workflows, DMN decision models, and end-to-end process orchestration. The role involves developing Java-based delegates (mostly in Kotlin framework), connectors, job workers, and integrating workflows with microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise systems.
You will work on configuring Camunda Cockpit/Tasklist/Operate, optimizing workflow performance, and ensuring smooth production operations. Strong hands on skills in Java, Spring Boot, BPMN 2.0, OData/REST integrations, and messaging platforms like Kafka/JMS are essential.
Experience with Zeebe (Camunda 8), DevOps tools (Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD), Docker/Kubernetes, and distributed system concepts is highly preferred.
The ideal candidate can troubleshoot workflow issues, collaborate in Agile teams, and deliver scalable, resilient automation solutions.
Duties and responsibilities
- Work with Team Lead/Product Manager to understand business requirements
- Develop functionality/modules with a focus on usability,
reliability and supportability
- Adhere to architectural goals and principles
- Document technical design, process flow and support plans
- Consult with various implementation and quality-assurance teams to create and execute unit tests for all code developed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and process endpoints.
- Model end-to-end processes using BPMN, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement process orchestration logic to drive both choreographed and orchestrated workflows.
- Leverage Camunda to create robust process orchestrations in headless manner.
- Continuously enhance process models based on data-driven insights.
- Configure workflow engines, define process instances, and manage execution paths.
- Integrate with microservices and external systems using Camunda connectors.
- Coordinate communication and data flow between microservices.
