Gruppo Lactalis Italia is looking for a Certosa Plant Production Manager to join the Industrial Department of the BU Cheese at the Giussago (PV) Plant. The resource, reporting to the Plant Director, will have the following responsibilities:
- Ensure the correct progress of the weekly production program, promoting continuous improvement of plant performance and ensuring compliance with food safety, environmental, and workplace safety regulations;
- Collaborate with planning in defining the weekly production program, ensuring its correct progress and managing processes and packaging lines in compliance with required industrial performance;
- Ensure, with the help of collaborators (Workshop), that the production process is conducted in compliance with the Food Safety, Environmental Management System, and current workplace health and safety regulations and hygiene standards;
- Ensure that productions comply with current food safety regulations, specific standards,
and relevant product specifications; oversee and ensure workers' compliance with their legal obligations, company provisions on health and safety at work, and the use of PPE;
- Collaborate with Research and Development technicians and the Industrial Department in implementing new ideas, projects, new lines, and investments;
- Contribute to evaluating the economic impact of new plants/technologies and ensure their effective integration into the production process.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Degree in Food Technologies or a similar field of study;
- Professional experience of 4-5 years in similar roles, in structured environments;
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel;
- Good knowledge of the English language; knowledge of French will be considered a plus;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership, proactivity, analytical and forecasting ability, team working.
