The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Coordinator. It is a full-time role (40-hour working week made of 8 hours per 5 days and 2 days off).

Assist manager and supervisors in inspecting guest rooms, public areas, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards.
Run sold room reports, verify room status,



determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities.
Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
Document issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
Under the guidance of a supervisor, prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards. Communicate issues to next shift.
Use company tools, such as GXP and Opera for department operations
complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
Support team to reach common goals.
Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Housekeeper Manager.
