In this role you will design and deliver cross‐platform mobile apps using Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform, contributing to ABB's Digital Agile Unit. You will integrate IoT devices, cloud backends, and AI-assisted workflows while upholding strong security along the SDLC. You'll collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ship robust, secure software at scale and influence architecture and DevOps practices. This position offers impact across IoT, cloud, data management, and digital tools within a mission‐driven environment.
- Architecture & Development: design cross‐platform mobile apps with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform, optimizing shared code for Android and iOS
- AI-Driven Productivity & Agentic Engineering: promote AI pair‐programming and agentic workflows with human‐in‐the‐loop validation




- System & Device Integration: optimize solutions for seamless IoT integration (Bluetooth LE, MQTT)
- Agile Collaboration: participate in Scrum ceremonies with cross‐functional teams
- CI/CD & Automation: build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for multiplatform delivery
- Software Excellence: enforce modern architectures (MVI/MVVM, Clean Architecture), run code reviews and static analysis
- Security & Compliance: apply SDL, ensure data encryption and secure storage throughout development
- Local & Cloud Data Management: design local persistence (Room, SQLDelight) and integrate with cloud REST/GraphQL APIs
- Bachelor or Master degree in electronic/computer science engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Solid experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, and Compose Multiplatform for iOS/Android
- Hands‐on AI‐assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
- Strong knowledge
