Legal Manager

Position purpose:

Working closely with the Legal Director, the Legal Manager advises functions and stakeholders on complex and strategic legal and business matters including:- Leading and managing complex national and international contractual frameworks, incl negotiations if needed;- High-impact legal and regulatory matters, including portfolio specific regulations, Competition Law, Privacy and Consumer Protection;- Management of disputes and pre-litigation/litigation activities, contributing to risk mitigation and alignment with the overall legal strategy.

What will you do – responsibilities:




• Applies business acumen to legal and regulatory advice to support optimal commercial outcomes; provides advanced regulatory assessments aligned with strategic priorities; identifies opportunities while ensuring sound risk management; effectively tailors advice to different audiences, including local ExCom or other senior management where appropriate.
• Manages complex contractual frameworks (including high-volume agreements and/or contracts with strategic suppliers and partners); structures agreements to optimize risk allocation and commercial outcomes; leads or significantly contributes to negotiations if needed, ensures stakeholder management.
• Supports or leads the management of disputes and pre-litigation/litigation matters, including monitoring developments, identifying risks, gaps and opportunities; instructs and challenges external counsel, ensuring cost control and alignment with the overall legal strategy
