Duties

Conducts day-to-day operations for designated schools to provide timely and efficient transportation service.
Coordinate appropriate transportation for students with special needs.
Serves as Contracting Officers Representative (COR)for school transportation contracts.
Prepares documentation to support contract provisions.
Analyze documentation procedures and techniques with respect to cost, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Monitors contractor performance and related expenditure of funds.
Manage policy procedures relative to the organizations transportation program.
Compile student statistical data for forecasting transportation requirements.
Conducts student registration and orientation to parents and students.
Investigate incidents of student misbehavior and recommend consequences.

Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
Direct deposit of pay is required.
One probationary period may be required.




Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.
This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigation with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age.
This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
Individuals hired from the Continental United States (CONUS) and their family members (who are US citizens) are required to obtain Official Passports prior to departure to the overseas area.
Individuals assigned to Italy, England, or Korea, are required to obtain a visa to enter these countries.
A valid driver's license is required.
