The Accountant ensures accurate and timely management of the company’s financial transactions, supporting both the general ledger and the accounts payable/receivable processes. The role contributes to monthly closing, compliance with local regulations, and provides financial data to internal stakeholders.
Accounts Payable -Process supplier invoices, verify documentation, manage payment schedules, reconcile statements, and ensure compliance with internal policies
Accounts Receivable -Issue customer invoices, monitor outstanding payments, manage credit notes, and support collection activities
General Accounting -Maintain accurate accounting records, support journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Month-End Closing -Assist with closing activities, prepare reports, and ensure deadlines are met
VAT & Tax Compliance -Support VAT calculations, Intrastat, and other statutory requirements in line with local regulations
Expense Management -Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring policy compliance
Fixed Assets -Maintain asset register, track depreciation, and support audits




Audit Support -Provide documentation and explanations during internal and external audits
Cross-Functional Collaboration -Work closely with Finance, Procurement, HR, and Operations to ensure data accuracy and process alignment
Required Skills & Experience:
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Knowledge of Italian VAT and basic tax principles
Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Excel
Good command of English, written and spoken

Experience in multinational environments or structured companies
Knowledge of Intrastat, electronic invoicing, and RIBA procedures
