About the Role
For an international, fast-growing logistics and e-commerce organization, we are looking for an experienced
Head of HR Italy (m/f/d)
to lead the HR function during an exciting market-entry and scale-up phase in Italy.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building structures from the ground up, partnering closely with senior management and supporting a rapidly growing operational organization.
Based near
Milan Malpensa Airport
, you will take ownership of the local HR strategy and operations and play a key role in establishing and scaling the organization in the Italian market
.
Your Responsibilities
- Build and lead the HR function for the Italian organization during the ramp-up phase
- Act as strategic HR partner to local and international management
- Develop scalable HR processes, policies and structures aligned with Italian labor law and global standards
- Drive workforce planning and support large-scale recruitment and organizational growth
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations and offboarding
- Ensure compliance with Italian employment legislation, HR policies and internal governance requirements
- Manage compensation, benefits and payroll-related HR processes in cooperation with internal and external partners
- Support the development of organizational structures, job levels and HR frameworks
- Advise managers on labor law, performance, disciplinary and employee relations matters
- Build a strong local culture while ensuring smooth collaboration between the Italian organization and international headquarters
- Establish HR reporting, KPIs and workforce analytics to support management decisions
- Build and develop the local HR team as the organization grows
