SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects. /p /brpbPurpose of the position: /bAs bAsset Equipment Production Enginee /br, you will respond to the PIPTEC Operation Manager and be part of the Offshore EC – Pipeline Technologies function. /p /brh3How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities: /h3 /brul /brliTechnical leadership of some families of Pipe Lay Equipment (PLE) /li /brliDefinir the requirements of the PLE equipment in the technical supply specifications in line with the scope of work. /li /brliPrepare technical bid evaluation for the selection of the PLE equipment. /li /brliPLE Supplier interface both from technical and management point of view /li /brliManagement/allocation of some families of PLE /li /brliUnderstand the projects need for assigned PLE and choose the best way to provide the proper equipment on time. /li /brliBe active part of PLE strategy upgrade/investment allocation.
/li /brliTechnical supervision of PLE integration with “correlated” machines /li /br /ul /brpParticipate actively at the Final Acceptance test of the PLE. /p /brh3What are we looking for? /h3 /brh3Education /h3 /brpIt’s requested to have a master’s degree in mechanical/ electrical/ Electronic/ Mechatronic/ Automation Engineering. It’s possible to evaluate no graduated candidates with long and proven experience in equipment development/integration/management /p /brh3Experience /h3 /brp6-8 years as an Asset Equipment Engineer or similar not necessarily in Oil Gas Industry /p /brh3Languages /h3 /brpIt’s mandatory very good knowledge (minimum B2 level) in read, written and spoken English /p /brh3Technical/IT Skills: /h3 /brul /brliInterdisciplinary knowledge (mechanical/electrical/electronic) typical of Equipment Development/Integration /li /brliGood knowledge of Automation principles and device (PLC, Profinet, CAN Open, Ethercat) /li /brliGood attitude to personal relationships aimed at having proactive and effective interaction with PLE suppliers and building a very strong team /li /brliGood knowledge of Autocad /li /brliGood capability to read electrical drawings /li /brliGood knowledge of MS Office tools /li /brliProactivity and open mind approach understanding the specific project constraints that can impact on managed PLE /li /brliVery good capabilities of problem solving and troubleshooting related to managed PLE working in different environment.
