NoOffer DescriptionThe programme is placed within oncologic pathology and aims to develop research lines focused on the integrated morphological, immunohistochemical and molecular characterization of neoplasms, with particular attention to tumors of the female genital tract and rare neoplasms or tumors with distinctive diagnostic features.
The research activity will be aimed at:
correlating histological and immunophenotypic patterns with clinico-prognostic data and molecular profiles; identifying and validating diagnostic, prognostic and predictive biomarkers for risk stratification and therapeutic decision-making; applying updated classification and staging systems, including integrated morpho-molecular models; enhancing institutional and multicentre case series through national and international collaborations; generating evidence through clinico-pathological studies, systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
The methodology includes histopathological review of biopsy and surgical specimens, use of targeted immunohistochemical panels, integration with molecular pathology data and clinico-pathological analyses. xlwpduy
The programme is intended to contribute to precision medicine in oncology by improving diagnostic reproducibility, classification accuracy and the translation of biomarkers into routine pathology practice.
