where junior and senior scientists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal. /p pThe Optical Approaches to Brain Function Research Unit is coordinated by Tommaso Fellin. The research focuses on dissecting out the cellular and circuit mechanisms underlying sensory discrimination. /p pWithin the research team, your main responsibilities will be: /p ul liConduct two-photon imaging and photostimulation experiments /li liData analysis /li liWriting reports and papers describing obtained results /li /ul h3ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liA PhD in Neuroscience, Neurobiology, or a related disciplines /li liExperience with two-photon microscopy for functional imaging experiments /li liDocumented experience in preclinical research activities and laboratory procedures /li liGood command of spoken and written English /li /ul h3ADDITIONAL SKILLS /h3 ul liExperience in writing codes with Python and MatLab /li liAbility to work in a challenging and international environment /li liCapacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment /li liPossess Analytical Reasoning skills and a growth mindset /li /ul h3COMPENSATION PACKAGE /h3 ul liA yearly gross salary ranging between 30K and 33K /li liPrivate health care coverage depending on your role and contract /li liCandidates from abroad or Italian citizens who have carried scientific research activity permanently abroad and meet specific requirements, may be entitled to a deduction from taxable income of up to 90% from 6 to 13 years. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
