The Synthetic and Systems Biology for Biomedicine Research line is coordinated by _Velia Siciliano_.



The research focuses on _designing synthetic microRNA for T cells regulation_. This includes _integration of microRNA circuits in primary human t cells_ Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be: - Develop circuits for macrophage polarization
- Integration in monocytes followed by phenotypical and functional analysis
- Develop lentiviral vector with inducible regulation of microRNAs
- Integration in T cells followed by phenotypical and functional analysis **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- A PhD in_ bioengineering or immunology_, and similar disciplines
- Documented experience in _T cell manipulation_
- Strong publication record
- Good command of spoken and written English **ADDITIONAL SKILLS**
- Experience in molecular biology and flow cytometry
- Knowledge of flow cytometry and statistical tools for analysis
- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
- Possess Analytical Reasoning skills and a growth mindset **COMPENSATION PACKAGE**
- A yearly gross salary of 30.000
