At Kuehne+Nagel, we are looking for a Contract Logistics Maintenance Specialist for our automated warehouse located in Dese (VE). If you are passionate about logistics and want to make a difference in a dynamic and innovative environment, this is the opportunity for you! ** Your Role**: The Contract Logistics Maintenance Specialist works within the Contract Logistics Function. She/He will operate for Thelios Contract, our new automated warehouse located in Dese (VE). Focuses on Maintenance, She/He will execute the maintenance plan related the autometed warehouse and the warehouse in general, contribute to all prevention activities and innovates projects to ensure fleet effectiveness and failure reduction. ** Your Responsibilities**: - Carry out reactive maintenance to all parts of the system, observing established health and safety practices and ensure availability of automated system (shuttle system, conveyor system, picking station, automated taping machine, etc.).
- Intervene quickly when errors occur and reset priority, based on the urgency and the gravity of failure that could happen in relation to the automated system.
- Identify potential faults and eliminate the causes at an early stage in order to ensure the highest possible level of availability
- Communicate clearly with other teams and troubleshooting efficiently
- Prepare, updated and control the warehouse maintenance plan, with focus on the automated warehouse.
- Support to diagnose the source of a failure to reduce downtime and analyse faults
- Manage the stock of spare parts warehouse and cooperate with the Management to define and follow up the replenishment process.
- Highlight potential risks and improvement to the automated warehouse
- Knowledge of SCADA system, PLC, maintenance tools and Office packages. To ensure the availability of the site, technicians work in alternative shifts. **Your Skills and Experiences**: - 3 - 5 years’ experience in medium scale (>50 FTE) automated fulfilment operations with strong preference given to Fashion Business.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of automated warehouse.
