- **Date posted**: 20/06/2025 **What you'll be doing day to day**- Ensure the performance and realizations of IKEA Corporate policies and routines according to your leader and assigned goals
- Assure compliance with local laws and regulations in the safety and security for the assigned unit
- Conduct and update risk assessments in the units to suggest mitigation plan
- Plan and conduct local safety training for colleagues
- Act as IKEA’s point of contact for local authorities (life safety, law enforcement, crisis management etc.) and consultants (fire safety, technical risk assessment, etc.)
- Support all country functions in the implementation of safety routine and procedure
- Report colleagues’ accidents/incidents and figures to your leader and insert them in the incident tool
- Secure that safety routines are established at new construction sites and openings of new units occur safely for colleagues, customers and visitors, through periodical site visits
- Periodical follow-up on previous review and action plan are correctly implemented
- Contribute to the country's expansion process, taking in mind both the global / local IKEA requirements through site visits to construction sites, participation in coordination meetings, auditing and control activities, collection of the documentation required for opening the units **What you'll need to have**- Structured, analytical method and attention to details
- Strong communication and groups engagement skills
- Strong passion for Safety topic
- Ideally a previous experience in this role
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Qualification as ASPP (addetto del servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione ex D.lgs 81-08)
- Qualification as safety trainer
- Good communication in English and Italian
