- The Software Development Engineer Professional is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting robust, scalable software solutions for business-critical systems.
- The position requires strong technical expertise, a proactive and collaborative approach, and the ability to perform effectively in agile, regulated, and high-availability environments. **Responsibilities**
- Collaborate closely with customers and key project stakeholders
- Work with developers, architects, product managers, and other product teams to design, develop, and integrate software solutions across multiple products.
- Develop high-quality, well-structured, and testable code.
- Contribute actively to solution design, development, and delivery, including planning and review activities.
- Partner with technical writers to enhance user manuals and produce internal technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance existing software modules in line with standard product maintenance processes.
- Support new business opportunities by contributing to customer proof-of-concepts and developing prototypes based on emerging technologies.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support when required to help prevent and resolve system downtime.
- Take part in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Qualifications**
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and service-based architectures.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL; familiarity with DB2 and Oracle is a plus.
- Good knowledge of messaging systems, preferably ActiveMQ Artemis and JMS.




- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. **Education**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. **Soft Skills**
