Role Description The Check in Agent role is a tempo parziale, on-site position based in Venice. This role is responsible for welcoming guests on arrival, managing check-in procedures, and providing clear information about the apartment and local area. The Check in Agent responds to guest inquiries, offers guidance on transportation and attractions, and ensures that guests feel supported throughout their stay.

Daily tasks include coordinating arrival times, handling basic administrative work, and maintaining accurate records.



The role requires close collaboration with other team members to resolve issues quickly and uphold high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience with check-in and front-facing hospitality tasks, including welcoming guests, verifying bookings, and explaining property rules.
- Solid computer literacy and comfort using reservation platforms, email, and basic office software.
- Ability to provide and receive training, share best practices, and adapt to updated procedures and systems.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or other European languages is an advantage.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in managing schedules and guest information.
- Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or short-term rentals is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by guest arrival patterns.
