WHAT WILL YOU DO?

- Core activities. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts across UI, API, and component levels, using our Reply framework built on Selenium and Playwright with Cucumber/Gherkin BDD. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve coverage, reliability, and execution speed. Use GitHub Copilot as an everyday part of the test-writing process: generating locators, drafting Gherkin feature files, and implementing test code, depending on the type of test you're building.
- Tech & Tools Stack. You will work with Java and Maven, Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for UI automation, REST Assured and Spring Boot for API testing, and JUnit/Mockito for unit and component testing. Test management runs through Jira + Xray, pipelines through Jenkins and GitHub Actions, with GitHub Copilot integrated into your daily coding workflow as an AI pair-programmer.
- Team work. You will work in an Agile, cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with QA Engineers/Test Analysts, developers, and DevOps/CI specialists,



and contributing to a shared, evolving standard of test automation practices across projects.

WE'LL TOTALLY LOVE YOU IF YOU HAVE…

- Academic background. We are seeking engineers with excellent academic achievements. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Technical & strategic skills. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright) and BDD/Cucumber, solid Java skills, and experience with API testing (REST Assured) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot to write, review, and maintain test code more efficiently.
- Nice to have. Experience with Spring Boot/Spring Test, code coverage tools (JaCoCo), Kubernetes-based CI runners, or test management tools like Jira/Xray. Exposure to mobile test automation (Appium).

WHAT WE OFFER

- An offer tailored to your experience. This position is open to people with varying levels of expertise and seniority. The compensation package will be determined based on your professional background, technical skills, expertise, and the level of responsibility associated with the role. The collective labour agreement (CCNL) applied is the Italian Metalworking Industry Agreement. The job classification will be assessed starting from level B1,



and the gross annual salary (RAL) will range from €31,000 to €38,500. Previous experience with AI-driven Quality Assurance, Intelligent Test Automation, autonomous testing frameworks, AI-powered test generation and optimization, and the application of Generative AI and Agentic AI to software testing and quality engineering will be considered a strong asset.
