Job Description Summary
Resident Engine Field Service Representative (T700/T6E1). Perform preventive and remedial services and maintenance activities on the customer site/property (2nd Reg. di Sostegno AVES Orione – Bologna). Maintain engines, facilities and field services engineering, and follow discipline and standard functional practices and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities
- Act as primary interface for concerns and technical evidence arising from maintenance activities on engines at customer lead; ensure effective communication between customer and Avio Aero.
- Coordinate with system engineer, program manager and fleet manager on the management of the T700/T6E1 engine program.
- Provide timely technical assistance to resolve engineering issues.
- Support decision-making on engine removal from service after evaluating troubleshooting options.
- Arrange shipping and receiving of engines, accessories, and parts to/from company sites.
- Monitor, record and update engine fleet availability and status.
- Plan maintenance inspections and interpret technical publications, service bulletins and PTAs.
- Assist with training, maintenance or operational activities.
- Embed PTAs, update engine configuration related to organizational and intermediate maintenance levels.
- Coordinate with fleet manager on parts availability at customer warehouse.
- Maintain technical documentation (Engine Logbook, Accessories Log Card, PTAs, Compliance Status).
- Support management and use of engine Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) as prescribed.
- Arrange Avio Aero technical interventions for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Collect service data for engine and life‑limited parts.
- Execute maintenance tasks and evaluate results following the technical manual.
- Act as certifying staff for engine maintenance activities.
- Coordinate any Avio Aero technical intervention at customer premises or other national locations (e.g., Leonardo Helicopters).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical high school diploma with solid experience in a similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of T700 family engines, accessories, installations, control and monitoring systems, and airframe interfaces.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics of complex equipment.
- Knowledge of configuration control rules and procedures.
- Experience with Engine Logbook for analysis of engine and part data.
- Ability to read nomenclature catalogues, technical publications, regulations and maintenance manuals.
- Capability to evaluate improvement areas of existing maintenance procedures.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer mindset skills.
- Solid MS Office proficiency.
- Eligible for NATO Security Clearance.
- Holder of EMAR 66 / AER(EP) or P-66 military aircraft maintenance licence (B1/C) or EASA equivalent.
- Work visa in accordance with local regulation.

Contract Level
CCNL Metalmeccanico – B2. Salary range: €42,225.00 – €56,300.00 + performance premio + PDR up to €6,000.
