Cosa offriamo:
YellowSquare Florence is looking for a Community & Events Coordinator
YellowSquare Florence is looking for a creative, dynamic Community & Events Coordinator with a strong aptitude for interpersonal relationships.
Here, events are not just dates on a calendar: they are the way travelers and locals meet, make friends, and discover something new. That is why we are looking for someone with ideas, energy, and the desire to put them into practice, living every day in contact with our international community.
Who we are:
- YellowSquare is a modern and innovative hostel with locations in Rome, Milan, Florence, and Athens, constantly expanding in Italy and abroad.
- We are not just a place to sleep, but a community where travelers and locals meet through events, music, parties, workshops, and shared activities.
What you will do:
- Coordinate and plan weekly events and activities for YellowSquare Florence.
- Brainstorm new creative, social, and cultural activities for international guests.
- Manage the promotion of events on social media channels.
- Propose and organize nights with bands, DJs, stand‑up comedy, workshops, games, and much more.
- Manage artistic and financial relationships with performers and suppliers.
- Supervise the execution of events by coordinating the involved departments.
- Build positive relationships with guests and partners to ensure memorable experiences.
What you should have:
- Experience in organizing events, activities, or communities (even in hostels, clubs, festivals, associations, or similar environments).
- Having traveled or knowing the hostel world is a strong plus.
- You feel comfortable talking to people from all over the world.
- You have a hands‑on approach: you like organizing, but also being present during events and hosting the nights.
- You have energy, initiative, and don't wait for someone to tell you what to do.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English (other languages are a plus!).
- Familiarity with social media and digital tools.
- Team spirit, passion for hospitality, and an "out of the box" approach.
You will thrive in this role if:
- You love meeting new people every day.
- You have traveled and know what makes a hostel special.
- You prefer creating experiences rather than just organizing them.
- You enjoy turning an idea into something concrete.
- You are not afraid of the stage: you are ready to grab the microphone, host the evening, and be a true entertainer to engage the audience.
- You don't mind working some evenings or weekends when events take place.
What we offer:
- A young, stimulating, and international environment.
- Opportunities for growth in a constantly evolving company.
- Creative freedom and space for your ideas.
- Many events to attend, even when you are not on shift.
- Gross Annual Salary (RAL) 5th level (€22.2k for full-time) National Collective Agreement (CCNL) Tourism & Hotels.
- Initial 6-month contract, full-time or tempo parziale (we are open to both).
- Free meal during your shift.
- Incentive and employee discount program.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to shape creative ideas, build relationships, and contribute to the cultural heart of a young and vibrant hospitality space. If you are ready to bring energy and innovation into the YellowSquare world — we look forward to your application!
