The Structural Engineer will provide technical engineering support for military construction (MILCON), renovation, demolition, maintenance, and facilities development projects serving the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and other Department of Defense customers. This position will work closely with architects, engineers, project managers,



and government stakeholders to develop safe, code-compliant structural designs that support mission-critical infrastructure. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide professional structural engineering support for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and modernization of military facilities. /li liPerform structural analysis and design for new construction, renovation, and infrastructure improvement projects. /li liDesign structural systems including reinforced concrete, structural steel, timber, shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, utility supports, and lateral force-resisting systems. /li liPerform calculations for environmental loads, seismic loads, wind loads, blast loads, and other structural design requirements. /li liPrepare and review structural drawings, calculations, specifications, engineering reports, and construction documents. /li liCollaborate with architects, civil, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project designs. /li liReview contractor submittals, technical proposals, shop drawings, and construction modifications for structural compliance and constructability. /li liEnsure compliance with DoD, NAVFAC, federal, and international building codes, standards, and engineering criteria. /li liParticipate in project meetings, design reviews, site visits, and technical consultations with government and contractor personnel.
