We're looking for a bspace systems and operations engineer /b who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to shape the future of space technology—from technical development to market adoption. /ppbThe Role /b /ppAs a Space systems and operations engineer at Intella, you'll be a versatile contributor bridging the gap between aerospace domain expertise and software product development. You'll bring deep knowledge of satellite operations to help us build, evaluate, and commercialize our data intelligence platform. This is a cross-functional role where your aerospace background will directly influence product direction, technical requirements, and go-to-market strategies. /ppWe recognize this is a broad scope. We'll shape specific responsibilities together based on your strengths, interests, and experience. /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAnalyze satellite telemetry data and contribute to data processing workflows. /liliSupport configuration and optimization of our data intelligence platform. /liliContribute to feature development and codebase improvements. /liliDefine and review technical requirements, product roadmap, and feature specifications. /liliEvaluate solutions from an aerospace operations perspective. /liliSupport marketing activities with domain expertise and technical content. /liliParticipate in sales conversations, conferences, and industry events. /liliHelp translate customer needs into product requirements.
/li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliMaster's degree in Aerospace Engineering. /liliAt least 3-5 years of experience in the aerospace industry. /liliHands-on experience with satellite operations (mission control, ground segments, or similar). /liliWorking knowledge of Python and general coding practices. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliExcellent communication skills—able to discuss technical topics with both engineers and customers. /liliComfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment. /liliFluent in English (Italian is a plus for local market activities). /li /ulh3Additional knowledge (beneficial) /h3ulliExperience with telemetry data analysis or FDIR (Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery). /liliFamiliarity with space mission standards (ECSS, CCSDS). /liliPrior exposure to product management or business development. /liliExperience with data platforms, workflow automation, or ML/AI applications. /liliPublic speaking or conference experience. /li /ulh3Location /h3pFull Remote (with periodic in-person meetings with the team in Milan). /ppCandidates must be based in Italy /ph3What we offer /h3ulliSalary range between 35k - 60k gross yearly (negotiable based on experience and scope of responsibilities). /liliFlexible working hours (really) with an OKR evaluation mechanism. /liliLunch card /liliFringe premio related to annual performances /liliComputer and business equipment. /liliDirect exposure to customers, partners, and industry events. /liliRegular company retreats and team-building activities. /li /ulpbWe will process your data with brespect to your /bbprivacy /b baccordingly to GDPR regulations. /b /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
