**THE POSITION**:
The Therapeutic Areas Clinical Operations Manager (TAM) is a key and strategic position in the Clinical Development & Operations team of Boehringer Ingelheim. The TAM will drive the pipeline development in assigned therapeutic areas by working on the clinical trials allocation in the country and the operational and scientific oversight of their conduction. ***Tasks and Responsibilities**: - Steering of the team delivery of pipeline commitments, effective leadership and best practice, leveraging data & technology and customer engagement approaches that maximizes value for patients.
- Coordinate and support the activities of the trials in the assigned therapeutic areas of responsibility and ensure the appropriate contribution to achieving the objectives of the therapeutic areas.
- Reference contact person in the assigned therapeutic areas towards other internal functions and external stakeholders.




- Responsible for the strategic feasibility evaluation assessments in the assigned therapeutic areas.
- Provide a strong leadership, coaching and inspirational attitude towards a team composed by Clinical Trial Managers and Clinical Trial Assistant. ***Requirements**: - Scientific Master's Degree; a Master of Clinical Research will be considered a plus
- Overall experience of 8/10 years in the Clinical Trials Field and 2/3 years of experience in People Management
- Good knowledge of international and national guidelines and regulatory topics.
- Languages: Fluency in English language and Native level of Italian language.
- Good command of Office Package
- Excellent influencing, leadership and communication skills.
- Open, curious, collaborative, with strategic thinking and a very positive mindset.
