ppWe are seeking a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) with strong HVAC and MEP design experience to lead the engineering execution of commercial building projects. This is a hands‑on technical role focused on engineering design, construction documentation, and construction administration—not project management. /p pThe ideal candidate is an experienced Professional Engineer who can take full technical ownership of mechanical building systems while collaborating closely with architects and multidisciplinary design teams. Projects include healthcare, veterinary, commercial, municipal, and other institutional facilities. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pDevelop mechanical engineering designs for commercial, healthcare, veterinary, municipal, and institutional building projects. /p pDesign HVAC and other mechanical building systems in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. /p pPrepare and review engineering calculations, specifications, equipment selections, and construction documents. /p pServe as the Engineer of Record, providing technical oversight and engineering judgment throughout the design process. /p pCoordinate mechanical systems with architects and other engineering disciplines to produce fully integrated project designs. /p pReview RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and other technical documentation during construction. /p pPerform site visits to verify existing conditions, evaluate construction progress, and resolve field issues.



/p pIdentify constructability challenges and develop practical engineering solutions. /p pSupport projects through inspections, punch lists, owner training, and project closeout. /p pActive Professional Engineer (PE) license required. /p pBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. /p p5+ years of mechanical engineering experience (10+ years preferred). /p pStrong experience designing HVAC, mechanical, or MEP systems for commercial building projects. /p pExperience with healthcare, veterinary, institutional, municipal, or similar facilities is highly preferred. /p pStrong understanding of engineering calculations, construction documents, equipment selection, specifications, and applicable building codes. /p pAbility to independently produce and review engineering designs while providing technical leadership. /p pCandidates must have hands‑on engineering and design experience.
