ppWe are seeking a dynamic eCommerce Public Policy professional to join our Government Relations and Public Policy team in Southern Europe. This person will play a crucial role in advancing TikTok's mission by navigating complex regulatory landscapes in the areas of eCommerce and consumer policy. The position requires expertise in relevant policy/legislative areas and public affairs experience in Southern Europe, particularly Italy and Spain. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liStay abreast of emerging policy trends and legislative developments in the eCommerce policy space. /li liProvide insights and advice to internal stakeholders on the potential implications for TikTok’s business and operations. /li liLead on the development of public policy positions and advocacy campaigns in Southern Europe, aligned with the business strategy. /li liBuild world class relationships with relevant stakeholders, including policy makers, legislators, and business associations, to help achieve public policy goals in the areas of e-commerce and consumer policy. /li liManage relationships with agencies and relevant trade associations.



/li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liSubstantial experience working in public policy and advocacy work in the region, and a strong understanding of what makes effective government relations and public policy strategies successful. /li liDeep understanding of legislative, public policy and regulatory issues affecting e-commerce, online marketplaces, and consumer policy. /li liExcellent communication skills. /li liFluent in English (working language of the company) and either Spanish and/or Italian for engaging with market contacts. /li liAbility to work in a fast‑paced environment. /li liStrong research, analysis, and project management abilities. /li liMotivation to learn and grow, as well as motivate and inspire others. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liStrong relationships and professional networks across southern Europe for the policy areas in focus. /li liDemonstrated interest and/or experience working in a tech environment (company or other organization). /li liExperience working independently and a passion for tracking big challenges. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
