The Role: We are looking for a Managing Consultant to lead and develop the technical due diligence (DD) for the renewables stream in Italy. This individual will also provide support, as needed, for EHS/ESG DD related to energy and renewables, as well as for the permitting/CPD streams across Italy and Europe. Key Skills/Experience:
- 7+ years of experience leading Technical Due Diligence (DD) for Renewable Energy projects, including Solar PV, Wind, BESS, Hydro,



and Biogas.- Experience with other energy technologies such as thermal plants, hydrogen, and alternative fuels.- A strong technical background (e.g., engineering), including conducting feasibility studies and designing renewable energy projects in Italy and Europe.- Experience with non-European projects.- In-depth knowledge of Italian legislation, laws, and incentives related to environmental and permitting requirements for energy projects.- Strong understanding of EU energy policy and EU taxonomy, particularly regarding energy and renewable energy projects.- Experience with infrastructure funds or infrastructure companies, familiarity with CSRD or SFDR regulations, experience in technical advisory roles for infrastructure funds, and expertise in ESG/EHS DDs and audits.- Experience in environmental constraints analysis and permitting and authorization processes for energy projects is a plus.- Fluency in both Italian and English.
